“Receive the Holy Spirit.”
John 20:21-22
Dear Partners in Ministry,
We continue to be praise God for your partnership in the Gospel. We have lots of good news to share.
10 Year Anniversary with MAG
It occurred to us this spring that we have been serving with MAG for 10 years now. Wow! MAG is roughly 20 years old, so now we’ve been around for half of its life too. We’ve certainly seen many changes over the years. But we are grateful to have seen the steady stream of medical care and gospel witness in Eastern Honduras. It is also sweet to reflect on all the apprentices and other missionary pilots who have come to Burlington for training over the years. This wouldn’t have been a reality without such a great team making that possible. Thank you!

Apprentices
Speaking of apprentices, we can also share where 2 of our latest apprentices are now serving. Bryan Martin and his family are serving with Zambia Flying Mission in Africa. Steven Brumfield is now serving with Amazon Salt & Light in the Brazil. We trust that God will be at work through their lives and ministry in mighty ways.

Future Staff and Apprentices
One of our goals at HQ for 2025 has been recruiting. The Lord has been helping us with that and the result of that has been lots of hosting in Burlington. We’ve had 2 families visit this spring who are in the application process to be pilot/mechanics with MAG. We had another 2 families who are currently MMS maintenance apprentices come for their second consult in preparation for their move to Burlington next year to begin the flight portion of their apprenticeship. With Carmen overseeing mobilization and Sean overseeing the apprenticeship program these visits have kept us and our team busy, but our hearts full as we get to know the folks the Lord is sending our way.
In April Carmen went with several others to the Liberty University Aeronautics career fair to represent MAG. We gained another apprentice last year through this visit so we remain prayerful about what the Lord may be doing. Our biggest staff need at MAG right now is for construction/ building maintenance person so serve full time in Rus Rus. No flight skills needed. If you know anyone who might fit that description please send them our way.
Honduras
Currently we are in full swing getting ready to be in Honduras as a family this summer July 2- August 7. One of our MAG field staff families, the Crothers, is on furlough, so we are going to help our other field staff family, the Hoblits, for a portion of the Crothers’ absence. While we are there, Sean will help Brad (our Honduras Program Director) get ready for a safety audit that will be happening this fall and will also do some of the flying work. There will likely be an airplane 100 hour inspection while we are there. We will also be hosting a team from our current church in North Carolina (Blacknall Memorial Presbyterian). Together we will be doing fix-it projects and children’s ministry.

Please pray for us! Taking all six of us is a bit daunting, but we know the Lord helps us do hard things. We are especially in the season of curious toddlers so we pray the Lord will help us keep them safe from dangerous curiosities like scorpions, snakes, tarantulas, and bat poop, etc.
Brad made this video a little over a month ago to share about all the teams that came to Rus Rus the first half of the year. Enjoy!
Abundant Blessings in Christ,
Sean and Carmen Garrigan
